SMOOTH DRY AUTUMN TRAILS READY FOR YOU

Even with some fairly decent rain during the morning, the trails were still very pleasant during the afternoon.

I have yet to have a day here in the Alpujarra where it has been impossible to get a run in at some stage because of bad weather.

SUMMIT CRYSTALS AT 11.000ft

Ice crystals at the summit beacon of the Veleta peak (3.398m / 11.148ft).

In the background is the pyramid-shaped Mulhacen (3.479m / 11.414ft), the highest point on the Iberian peninsula.

In the distance on the right, you can see the Mediterranean stretching toward the coast of Morocco...

ICE CRYSTALS UNDER A COBALT SKY

Even on New Year’s Day in the midst of the winter, there is still plenty of sunshine in the South of Spain.

On average you can expect 20 days each month during winter that have good weather up at 10.000ft on the way up to the Veleta peak.
